Ladies Who Lit celebrates writing by women. We treat reading as a cultural practice, and book club as an evolving art form. Based in Chicago, IL, our events are curated as opportunities to connect monthly book selections to contemporary cultural events throughout the city. Part salon, part scene, tied together with red satin.

We situate ourselves at the intersection of literature and lived experience, and our discussions unfold across screenings, exhibitions, performance, dinner and beyond. Our club is a community of curious, creative, big-hearted readers who are unafraid to explore identity, vulnerability, ambition, desire, and reinvention.
